About Miss Manning
Hello! I'm Miss Manning and I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Hilltop this year. This will be my is 10th year teaching. However, it is my 6th year teaching at Hilltop Elementary and I could not be more excited to be working in such an excellent school district.
I grew up on the north side of Youngstown where I attended Ursuline High School and graduated in 2006. After high school, I attended Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio (Go Cavs!) and graduated as Magna Cum Laude in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. In December 2016, I completed my masters degree in educational leadership. I am licensed to teach both general education and special education in grades preschool through three. I also have a Reading Endorsement for grades K-12.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends (especially my nieces and nephews) exploring Mill Creek Park, watching football, listening to music, and traveling. I just recently welcomed a new puppy into my home. Nell is a basset hound and she couldn’t be cuter! My fiance and I love taking her to the Poland Woods. We are also in the process of planning a wedding! Jon and I are getting married the summer of 2020. Next school year, I will be Mrs. Carroll.
